WEiA at the Smart Home & IoT Expo | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

This event, together with the substantive support provided by the Interior Automation Conference, offered a comprehensive overview of trends in the field of smart buildings and the Internet of Things. Direct discussions with exhibitors facilitated the exchange of experiences regarding the integration of advanced automation systems.
 
The visit resulted in the establishment of valuable industry contacts, which will be utilised in the faculty’s research and teaching activities. The information gathered will be used, amongst other things, to develop a concept for a potential laboratory station that will enable students to engage with the latest smart home technologies in an academic setting.
 
What’s new in the world of the Internet of Things? Our staff member checked it out at the Smart Home & IoT Expo. The knowledge gained and new contacts will help us create further teaching resources for students at WEiA. Things are going to get exciting! The next steps towards modern teaching at the faculty have been taken!
