The aim of the Win WEiA Index competition is to popularize technical education in the field of automation, electronics and electrical engineering among secondary school students, as well as to encourage young people to undertake technical studies. The Competition is open to students of the last years of secondary schools from Poland.
The winners of the Competition may apply for admission to the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology in the field of Electrical Engineering or the field of Automation, Robotics and Control Systems on preferential terms, in the year of receiving the matriculation certificate.
The Win WEiA Index competition takes place in two stages. During the first stage, the technical knowledge of the participants in the field of automation, electronics and electrical engineering is verified (multiple choice test). The second stage includes the preparation of the laboratory stand design of a technological process specified in the competition task.
