Eco-tree and the Miracle Market

On December 12, an eco-tree was erected in front of the Main Building of Gdańsk University of Technology, and the lights were symbolically switched on by Maria Mrówczyńska, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland, Piotr Borawski, Vice-President of Gdańsk, and Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology, who conveyed their wishes to the staff and students.

The event brought together the university community, and employees of our faculty: Kamila Senger-Kaczorowska, MA, and Magdalena Oller, MA, took part in decorating Eco-tree as members of a five-person technical university team.

The Fahrenheit Courtyard hosted the first Christmas Miracle Market, where visitors could purchase handmade jewelry, cosmetics, artwork, and baked goods from the stands of PG employees and students. Thanks to everyone's involvement, we managed to raise over PLN 10,000 for the University Foundation. The funds collected will be allocated by the Council at its January meeting.
