Department of Biomechatronics | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The Department of Biomechatronics was established in 2021.

The head of the Department is prof. D.Sc. Eng. Grzegorz Redlarski.

The Department of Biomechatronics conducts research in the field of Biomedical Engineering including:

- analysis of biological signals using machine learning methods,
- modeling and use of metamaterials,
- modeling and analysis of the influence of electromagnetic fields on living organisms,
- the use of intelligent materials in actuators for bimedical applications.

The Department of Biomechatronics is part of the BioTechMed Center of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
