Representatives of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering visited our faculty
The lecture was held as part of the course lecture of the subject “Programmable Controllers” (5th sem. of the course Automation, Robotics and Control Systems) was held, covering the following issues:
- information on the scope of the Polish branch of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering,
- “Specifics of the work of an automation engineer (in automotive)”,
- “Corporate standards in software development for PLC”.
The speakers presented to the attendees, among other things, the scheme of operations, goals and mission of the company, answered questions from students and faculty. The meeting was also an opportunity to identify areas of possible cooperation.
thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering employs about 1,400 people in 11 countries on three continents. On 18.08.2023, the company opened a plant in Banin for the production of machines and assembly systems for electric drive systems from the e-Mobility area.
