A formal meeting of the Senate of the Gdansk University of Technology was held on December 4 in the PG Auditorium of the university's Main Building.

During the ceremony, Pomeranian Voivode Beata Rutkiewicz, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, presented decorations to the recipients of the Medals for Long Service and, on behalf of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Medals of the Commission of National Education.

Gold Medal for Long Service

  • Kazimierz Duzinkiewicz, Ph.D., professor of the university.

Bronze Medal for Long Service

  • Kornel Borowski, Ph.D.
  • Emilian Piesik, Ph.

Medal of the National Education Commission

  • Dr. Artur Cichowski, Professor at the Academy.

The Rector of the university, Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, also presented awards and distinctions to the university's employees.
