Cooperation agreement with the University of Gdańsk Faculty of Languages | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

On behalf of the Faculty of Languages at the University of Gdańsk, the meeting was represented by: prof. Urszula Patocka-Sigłowy, Professor at UG, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, prof. Mirosława Modrzewska, Professor at UG, Director of the Institute of English and American Studies, and Ph.D. Magdalena Wawrzyniak-Śliwska. On behalf of the Gdańsk University of Technology, the meeting was attended by prof. Mirosław Wołoszyn, university professor, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, Ph.D. Anna Golijanek-Jędrzejczyk, Vice-Dean for Education, Maciej Galik, Administrative Director of the Faculty, and Katarzyna Zygmunt, Deputy Director of the Farenheit University Union.

The concluded agreement paves the way for joint interdisciplinary scientific activities in the fields of artificial intelligence, deep neural networks and deep learning, data processing systems and intelligent control systems. In addition, joint teaching activities are planned to strengthen the teaching offer.

During the visit, guests had the opportunity to visit the Metrology Laboratory, the LINTE^2 Laboratory, the short-circuit room and see a live electrical discharge demonstration.
