Celebration of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering 2023 | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Faculty staff and students, as well as invited guests from the Gdansk University of Technology and the economic environment, gathered at the LINTE^2 Laboratory. The ceremony was attended by the Rector Prof. Janusz Nieznański, Prof. Kazimierz Jakubiuk, Prof. Roman Śmierzchalski, deans and directors of GdańskTECH Centres, staff, students and representatives of many companies including: Lamel Rozdzielnice, TRUMPF Huettinger, Ferchau Poland, Zakład Automatyki i Urządzeń Pomiarowych AREX, Energa-Operator, Arex, Pomorskie Przedsiębiorstwo Mechaniczno-Torowe and other representatives of companies associated with the Faculty.

The guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, prof. Mirosław Wołoszyn, who presented the achievements of the Faculty for the past year and discussed the prospects for the development of the Faculty. The floor was then taken by the Rector, Prof. Janusz Nieznański, who presented plans for the expansion of the LINTE^2 Laboratory infrastructure, including the construction of a hydrogen facility. 

Discussions among staff, students and guests over barbecue specialities were complemented by the opportunity to meet the Faculty's partner companies.
