On November 5, 2022, the Student Activity Competition - Golden Lions 2022 took place. For the seventh time, SSPG awarded the most active Faculty Student Councils operating at the Gdańsk University of Technology.

The prizes were awarded in the following categories: personality, research project, integration project, sport, student development project, student organization, student scientist, best WRS. This year's Student Activity Competition turned out to be extremely successful for the representatives of our faculty - WRS EiA won the award for the best Faculty Student Council in the 2021/22 term, and Mateusz Breza became the best student scientist. Our Faculty Student Council, in addition to exemplary activity at the faculty, is involved in many events organized by the SSPG and most of the events of the remaining WRS. Mateusz Breza, in addition to exemplary education at the faculty, was active at the LINTE^2 Laboratory, acting as the administrator of the research network there. He also received the 1st degree award for Graduates in the field of Electrical Engineering, in a competition organized by Siemens together with the Warsaw University of Technology for the engineering thesis entitled "Digital field controller for DC stations".

“It is definitely a touching moment, thank you very much for appreciating our activity for this term of office,” comments the chairman of the WRS, Michał Buriak. - However, I believe that we have been appreciated for the last four terms of office and it is our common merit. We are here because of our events, such as the iconic Electricity Cruise or charity events that we have managed to organize over the years. I would also like to thank the faculty authorities and the faculty office staff who always approached us with a smile and helped us organize all these actions ”.

Congratulations to all winners and we wish you continued success.
