The drive systems developed in the Department are implemented in industrial companies, especially in companies founded by employees, doctoral students and graduates of the Department. The following have been implemented:
At MMB Drives sp.z o.o., established by the employees and doctoral students of the Department:
- converters for wind farms up to 160 kW,
- control systems for thyristor converters for direct current drives,
- power electronic converters for reactive power compensation,
- converters for powering electric vehicles,
- current inverters for powering induction machines,
- cascade voltage inverter for supplying medium voltage motors.
In EMS Energy Management Systems sp.z o.o., established by an employee of the Department with the participation of the Pomeranian Agency for Enterprise Development:
- complete EMS Energy Management System.
At OPA ROW sp.z o.o. from Rybnik:
- inverters for regenerative drives and generators from renewable sources.
At the Ship Technology Center S.A. as part of the work carried out during the doctoral dissertation by Ph.D. Eng. Marcin Drzewiecki prepared at KANEiKE:
- cascade control system of the electrohydraulic wave developer drive,
- a controller that uses fuzzy logic to control the electro-hydraulic drive of the wave developer,
- adaptive regulator of spectral density of the energy of the generated water wave,
- used in the implementation of experimental studies of physical models of floating objects - incl. ships, yachts and offshore facilities in order to increase maritime safety and the survivability of structures at the request of domestic and foreign customers.
