2023 Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering reunion
The reunion participants met with the Rector of the Gdańsk University of Technology and with the authorities and staff of the home Faculty. In addition to the opportunity to reminisce, participants could listen to lectures on the history of the Faculty. During the meetings, it was possible to visit the buildings and laboratories of the Faculty.
Yearbook graduates taking part in the reunions:
- Yearbook 1973 (started education in 1967) - reunion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of graduation.
- Yearbook 1973 (started education in 1968) - reunion to celebrate 50 years of graduation.
- Yearbook 1972 - yearbook meeting.
- 1975 Year Class - annual meeting.
- Yearbook 1988 - 35th anniversary graduation meeting.
- Yearbook 1999 - annual meeting.
- Yearbook 2003 - 20th Anniversary reunion.
The celebrations were highlighted by the unveiling of a portrait of Professor Leon Staniewicz in the Faculty Council room. Professor Leon Staniewicz was the honorary dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering just after the Second World War.
As usual, the commemorative reunion of graduates was immortalised in a joint commemorative photograph of the reunion participants in front of the main building of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering (Professor Kazimierz Kopecki Building).
