On November 8 and 9, Gdańsk Electricity Days (GDE) were held, which were organized by SEP Gdańsk Branch and SEP Student Association of Gdańsk University of Technology.

As part of the event, an electricity conference and industry fairs were held, during which participants could obtain information about the subject of activity of a selected company and learn about technologies and solutions offered by exhibitors from the electricity sector. With students in mind, the organizers also created an opportunity to establish contact with future employers in terms of internships and student apprenticeships, as well as future careers. Gdańsk Electricity Days were also an opportunity for representatives of companies and people related to electrical engineering and energy to meet live and exchange business information. Among the topics discussed at the conference were, among others: "Prospects for the development of high power transmission systems", "Failure risk management in the medium voltage cable network using diagnostics” and “Review of heat storage technologies”.

The second day of the Gdańsk Electricity Days was held at the Museum of the Second World War and was devoted primarily to conference presentations, including "Research of sensors with MV cable heads", "Energy storage as support for the power system" and "MV/LV flexible power station as a tool for providing network flexibility services".

The event was held under the Honorary Patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering of the Gdańsk University of Technology, professor Mirosław Wołoszyn.
