In 2010-2015, the newest LINTE^2 Laboratory was established, located in a building specially designed and built for this purpose, with an area of ​​approx. 1900 m2.

The LINTE ^ 2 Laboratory is a unique large research infrastructure that enables research and implementation work in the field of innovative power technologies and the integration of renewable energy sources, as well as the commercialization of the results of these works.

The main research area of ​​the LINTE^2 Laboratory is Smart Grids and the integration of distributed energy sources with the power system.

An important research and development area is power electronic converters in network applications (FACTS systems, active filters, coupling converters, etc.) as well as charging and using electric vehicles.

The laboratory specializes in scientific research and R&D for industry, demonstration projects, training and other R&D areas.
