The Dean Ludwik Referowski Award is a prestigious award given annually by the Sapientes et Audentes Fortuna Iuvat Foundation, which aims to support outstanding graduates of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology.
The prize is awarded in a competition to the best graduate of second-cycle full-time studies at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering in a given year. Among the evaluation criteria - apart from a very good grade point average from studies, an interesting diploma thesis, activity and a creative scientific attitude - there is also the requirement of impeccable moral attitude from candidates for the Award.
The winner of the competition receives a cash prize in the amount of PLN 50,000 and a diploma of recognition, presented to the Laureate during the Inauguration of the Academic Year at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology.
