2016 Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering reunion | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

As part of the reunion, an occasional meeting of the participants with the authorities of the University and the Faculty took place at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering. The meeting was attended by the new Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology, prof. Jacek Namieśnik and the new Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, prof. Janusz Nieznański.

The graduates who attended the reunion had a unique opportunity to visit the Faculty building and meet their former professors and academic teachers. The meeting was also attended by Ms Zofia Babniewicz, a long-time head of the faculty dean's office, who for many students was one of the most important people at the Faculty during the entire period of study.

The occasional lecture for the congresses was delivered by Edward Musiał, PhD, attended by approximately 100 former students of the Faculty in the iconic E41 room.

The summary of the 2016 Alumni Reunion was an evening meeting at a holiday resort in Łeba. About 85 people - graduates with accompanying persons - enjoyed the meeting until late at night.
