The Department conducts research in the field of various measurement techniques of electrical and non-electrical values, aimed at developing innovative solutions and designing measuring instruments and systems.
The research activity of the Department also includes diagnostic methods for electric motors and superconducting magnets. Particular emphasis was placed on the issue of testing the possibility of using virtual instruments and various methods of measuring data transmission in a research or industrial environment.
A relatively new focus is on the modeling of graphene field effect transistors for possible sensor applications.
