SEP Students' Club from WEiA is the winner of the university stage of the Red Rose competition | Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The Red Rose Award has been awarded to the best students and research clubs in Pomerania since 1962. Candidates for this award are proposed by university authorities, one from each category, who then represent it in the final stage of the competition. The Student Group of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers from WEiA competed with the Gradient scientific group from WETI, the Student Group for Automation and Robotics SKAR from WETI and the Scientific Group for Quality and Productivity from WZiE.

The commission, composed of vice-deans of all faculties of Gdańsk Techb, when deciding to select a research club representing the university, listened to the presentation of representatives of the groups and familiarized themselves with the achievements of the groups. SK SEP PG won by the decision of the committee. The group will represent Gdańsk University of Technology in the final, where it will compete with the best groups from other universities in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The winners of the competition will be selected at the ceremonial final gala that will be held on November 21, 2021 at the University of Gdańsk. The winning scientific group will receive the Red Rose Laurel and the prize of PLN 12,000.
