EfficienCE | Energy efficiency of public transport infrastructure in Central Europe
The main goal of the EfficienCE project is to reduce the energy consumption and the associated CO2 emissions of public transport systems. The implementation of the project will also contribute to the improvement of cross-border cooperation between the countries of Central Europe.
Envisaged activities include supporting local authorities, public transport authorities and operators, developing strategies and action plans, implementing pilot actions, developing tools and training, as well as transferring knowledge and best practices in improving energy efficiency in Central European regions.
