On the 20th of February 2020, the Porsche Centrum Sopot Auto LELLEK Group presented the latest model of an electric sports car - Porsche Taycan Turbo at the LINTE^2 Laboratory.
As part of the visit, organized to promote electromobility, the company used the research infrastructure of the LINTE^2 Laboratory, including electric vehicle charging stations.
The presented model of the Porsche Taycan Turbo, the sports car of the future, features, among other things, an innovative 500 kW electric drive, based on two synchronous motors with permanent magnets - one for each axle - powered by a battery with a usable capacity of 83.7 kWh. According to the manufacturer's declaration, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.2 s, and its maximum speed is 260 km/h.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo has two charging connectors: a Type 2 AC connector up to 11 kW and a CCS DC connector up to 270 kW. The CCS connector allows you to charge the car battery in about 20 minutes. The car can cover a distance of almost 400 km on a single charge.
