Department overview

The principal scientific and technological contributions of the Department include the development of diagnostic stations of railway vehicles, diagnostic and monitoring systems for overhead contact lines; modelling and simulation of electrified transportation systems, assessment of energy efficiency; electromobility of public and personal transport. The Department closely cooperates with the Polish and international companies dealing with the railway and urban electrification systems, electrified rolling stock, electric vehicles, power apparatus and converters for electrified transport.
